International recognition

In 2017, Quiéreme Mucho won 11 medals in distilled spirits competitions, an unprecedented achievement for an artisanal mezcal brand. This recognition endorses the sensory quality of our mezcals and the authenticity of the project.

Origin at Hacienda Guegorene

Hacienda Guegorene -built in the 17th century and today protected by 1,075 hectares of biodiversity- came to the Skidmore family at the beginning of the 20th century, when Frank Skidmore and later his son Charles H. Skidmore acquired the property. Since 1827, the chapel has housed the Virgin of Juquila and San Antonio de Padua, symbols of devotion that strengthen the link with neighboring communities.

A four-generation family legacy

María Saturnina Jiménez García and Charles H. Skidmore promoted the first mezcal stage.

Dolores Skidmore Jiménez and Carlos Skidmore Jiménez kept the farm and its agricultural vocation.

Today, Eduardo Muñozcano Skidmore, Frank’s great-grandson, leads the integral recovery of the historic district and creates the Quiéreme Mucho brand, projecting tradition into the 21st century with a sustainable vision and international openness.
