Mezcal Special Editions: Limited Art Collections

Quiéreme Mucho Special Editions are limited series of ultra-premium mezcal that fuse Liquid Excellence (mature agaves from San Pedro Taviche) with high-impact cultural themes such as the Day of the Dead and the Mexican Grand Prix (F1). Each bottle is hand-intervened by Oaxacan artists with season-specific iconography, making it a piece of Collectible Folk Art that gains value over time.

Curated Moments: The Two Crown Jewels

In this section, the art of the bottle dictates the experience. We select our best assemblies or high altitude swords to accompany these visual works.

1. Collection “Ofrenda Viva” (Day of the Dead)

  • The Concept: A tribute to Mexican syncretism. It is not a “Halloween” bottle; it is a portable altar.

  • The Art: The artists depict catrinas, cempasúchil flowers, candles and sugar skulls with a vibrant color palette (oranges, purples, blacks).

  • The Liquid: We generally select an Ensamble de Agaves or a late harvest Espadín, looking for notes of incense, earth and flowers that match the mystique of the date.

2. Competitive Spirit” Collection (F1 / Grand Prix)

  • The Concept: Speed meets the patience of mezcal. We celebrate the adrenaline of motor racing with the calm of Oaxaca.

  • The Art: Fusion of Zapotec iconography with racing elements (checkered flags, single-seater silhouettes, green/white/red patriotic colors).

  • The Liquid: A high proof Espadín Joven or Tobalá, designed to celebrate victory. Strong, bright and festive character.

Frequently asked questions about our collections.

Is the mezcal inside the Special Edition different?

It depends on the edition. Sometimes we use the same Premium Swordsman line (because it is our winning profile), but sometimes we release Unique Batches (i.e. a secret assembly) only for that collection. Always check the back label for the liquid’s technical data sheet.

For corporate orders or special gifts (weddings, VIP events), we can coordinate with our artists a personalized intervention. However, the Special Editions (Dead/F1) already come with their theme defined by the Master Curator.

Like any piece of limited art, its value is subjective and emotional. We have collectors who seek to have each year’s “Day of the Dead” bottle (2023, 2024, 2025…) to complete their series. It is art that does not devalue.

Art, culture and collection

These editions are numbered collector’s items, available only at certain times of the year or during special events. Their rarity and authenticity make them ideal gifts and objects of desire for those who value art made in Oaxaca.
No two bottles are alike: each stroke, each color and each story are unrepeatable.
